Term 1 Week 8

On Monday the year 4 and year 3 went to watch the Storm water performance  show.  It was about making our city clean and shiny by picking up rubbish ans saving our plants and fishes.  We need to make sure we don't put rubbish in the drains, don't wash our cars near drains and don't throw any rubbish.  I enjoyed the show and I learnt to never throw rubbish.

Term 1 Week 7

On Tuesday room 28/29 went with youth town after lunch then we played games  we played running game and target games then we went to class.

African Praise Poem

My Reflection

I have been learning  to write an African praise poem.  I found this piece of work tricky because I had to find an animal to compare myself with.  I found this easy because I was describing myself.  My next step is to use more details to describe myself.

Term 1 Week 6

On Tuesday the Y5 and Y4's went to play games with Youth Town.  We did our target practicing with tennis balls.  We had to knock down the cones.  I knocked down a cone once and Kayde knocked down 2 cones.  Peter didn't score anything.  Chloe scored one.  It was fun.  Then we played a different game called Mountains.

Term 1 Week 5

Last week we went to Te Tuhi.  We went to Te Tuhi to do a Tapa  cloth.  We  felt a tapa  cloth.  It felt like a mat with ink.  Then Jeremy took us to see more art work and we needed to do push ups.  It was fun and hard for me.

Welcome to my year 4 blog. this year I am in room 28/29 and my teachers are Mrs Graham and Mrs Melville.  I enjoy maths. I am looking forward to getting  my first gold Mathletics certificate.  I hope  you will enjoy reading my blog leave lots of feedback.

Last time the year 4 and year 5 and I went to the  feild  with youth town we play a game it was called catcher the flag I was in the bibs team we lost .
