Learning to write an adjective poem.

I have been learning to use adjectives in my writing to add detail and expression. I found this activity very tricky because I had to find adjective words and it took me very hard to do it. I am proud of my adjective words because it sounds pretty good. My next step is to add more interesting words.

Learning to make inferences.

I read this page of the story and then used the clues in the picture to make an inferences. I found this activity tricky because I had to think very hard and I had to think of a new inference if I was wrong. My next step with inferencing is to find some more clues in the pictures.

Learning to use arrays.

I used the arrays to help me solve the multiplication problems. I know that you can count how many animals in an array by counting how many in a line and counting how many lines. I am proud of counting the giraffes. My next step with using arrays is to learn my multiplication facts.

Learning to use different language features.

I found this activity tricky because I had to read all of my story. I am proud of my recording because I sound very cool. My next step with using different language features is to include more onomatopoeia and wow words like explore and enormous.
